How do you make a wreath without a form?
Some wreaths require a lot of wire along the bundled branches in order for them to form a nice curve when bent into a circle. Just take small pieces of florist wire and wrap it around the branches while trying not to smoosh the leaves. Make a few twists to tighten and secure the wire snugly against the branches.
How do you glue letters on a wreath?
-Put 1 or 2 tacks on the back of the letter (number of tacks depends on how big, and what letter it is). Be sure to leave enough space in between the letter and the head of the tack.. -Wrap wire around each tack. -Twist the wire onto the wreath!
What materials do you need to make a wreath?
For my garden themed wreath I needed:
- 2 grapevine wreaths. One 20 in. and one 24 in.
- 1 natural looking garland from a craft store.
- A bow (this is optional)
- wire cutters.
- florists wire.
- glue gun.
- The fun stuff. Things you have collected to embellish the wreath.
