Introduction to Color Theory, Thursday June 21, 7-9 PM

from 60.00

We're pulling out our color wheels and talking all about ROYGBIV for this new class that covers the basics of color theory as applied to floral design.  You may have some flashbacks to elementary school as we learn about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors and how to mix them to create eye-pleasing, harmonious designs with an assortment of beautiful flowers.  We will begin with a talk and demonstration on color theory in floral design, then each student will have one primary color to use as their starting point for their design.  Using other flowers to blend and bridge from your primary color, you will complete a lovely and balanced centerpiece to take home and enjoy.  Class includes all materials and supplies and a complementary WSFS apron.  Light snacks will be served and you are welcome to bring adult beverages to enjoy.
